With a message of equality, respect, and empathy: the art of Keudis Sanchz

Keudis Sanchz knew he would pursue a career in art the moment a tenth-grade teacher told him he had talent—back when he used to visit the owner of the local wine shop in his neighborhood and ask him to teach him how to draw—and ever since he worked as a living statue in Venezuela, where he is from.

Edgar Marcano: “If I die, I’ll die doing what I love”

After the decline Venezuela had experienced, Marcano, like many others, decided to leave and seek out a place that wasn’t so complicated, was safer, and offered better opportunities. That’s how he ended up in Charlotte, a place he had already visited as a tourist, without knowing it would become his home.

Loser sudamericano
